Plunge into Tuttle Creek for a Good Cause

Registration is now open for the Annual Special Olympics Polar Plunge at Tuttle Creek State Park. This chilling event will be on Saturday, February 15th beginning with a Costume Contest at 11:45 a.m., the icy plunge will take place shortly after.

Participants can form teams or register as individuals. After registering participants should begin fundraising and sharing their participation in the plunge to help their efforts. This year’s theme is ‘Together, We Freeze.’ All money raised goes towards supporting the over 5,000 Special Olympics Kansas athletes, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills, and friendships with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community.
