Downtown Manhattan, in collaboration with Kansas State University and the Mid-America Print Council, will host a street festival on Poyntz Avenue on Thursday, October 3rd, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The event will feature live music, entertainment, and hands-on demonstrations, along with student art exhibits from Emporia State, Wichita State, and Kansas State universities. Over 20 vendors will participate, offering an art scavenger hunt and printmaking demos. Local businesses will host artist exhibits, with Switch Wicked offering custom tote printing.
At 6:00 p.m., there will be a public reception for award-winning artists at Midtown Plaza. The festival will also be a legal Common Consumption Area, allowing adults 21 and older to purchase alcohol from participating establishments and enjoy drinks in public areas.
