The Republic County Community Foundation is currently accepting applications for fall grants, with online applications being due by Friday, September 15th.
Applicants must have community projects that will meet the following criteria:
-Projects that improve the quality of life for Republic County residents.
-Projects that address education, health care, social services and security, conservation and environment, arts and culture, and community beautification.
-Projects that support public health programs that support and encourage healthy living across Republic County.
The available funding is $130,000. It is provided by the Dane G. Hansen Community Grant Fund, The Republic County Community Action Fund, and the Kansas Health Foundation Fund.
The grants are limited to communities in Republic County. Nonprofit organizations, government and public entities, educational institutions, and churches are encouraged to apply.
