The River Valley Extension District will host a STEM Day Camp on Thursday, August 1st in Palmer. The Camp will take place from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Palmer Community Building.
This Camp is geared for youth aged 7 to 18 years old. Macy Hynek, 4-H Youth Development Agent, said they will be teaching youth all about the meaning of STEM.
Hynek said that this Camp is open to any youth in the area. It is not limited to just 4-H members or youth in the River Valley District. While it is open to any youth 7 to 18 Hynek said this Camp is geared towards a certain age group.
Registration is free. Interested youth or parents can get more information or register on the River Valley Website, their Facebook Page, or by calling Hynek at the Republic County Extension office.
