Rural Riley County Community Foundation to Host Inaugural Match Day

The Rural Riley County Community Foundation will hold its inaugural Match Day tomorrow through Friday. During the span of the two days, donations will be matched up to 50% with a total of $20,000 in match money thanks to generous local donors.

Join the Community Foundation tomorrow at the Riley County High School from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. to help celebrate this inaugural event. The Riley County Police Department will be serving hamburgers to attendees and donations can be dropped off during that time.  They will also be at the High School on Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., participating organizations will be there also.

Other drop-off locations in Riley County are the Keats Community Center, Leonardville Community Building, and Riley City Hall. Donations can also be sent via mail to the Community Foundation, or virtually at www.RuralRileyCountyMatchDay.com.
