St. Francis Xavier Catholic School in Junction City is gearing up for its annual fundraiser auction. The fundraiser, themed “Run for the Roses” in honor of the Kentucky Derby, will take place this Saturday, April 20th from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Principal Shawn Augustine has promised a fun evening filled with horse-related activities and various games to entertain attendees.
The event will host both silent and live auctions, including items such as getaway trips. Notably, contributions towards student scholarships are encouraged, providing crucial support for families in the community wishing to attend the catholic school. Tickets for the event are still available and include a meal from Hog Wild Pit Bar-B-Q along with an open bar.
This auction is the biggest fundraiser for the school every year. More information about the school and auction can be found on their website. Tickets are available for purchase by calling the school office.
