The Brown Grand Opera House has announced its third annual Winter Movie Series. They invite the entire community to attend and will be showing a family-friendly movie the first Friday of November, December, January, and February, all starting at 6:30 p.m.
The Winter Movie Series is sponsored by The Cloud County Chemical Dependency Committee. The event is free, and any donations received will go to support the Brown Grand. Concessions will be available for purchase.
Movies that will be shown include the Wizard of Oz on November 1st, White Christmas on December 6th, Cool Runnings on January 3rd, and Jumanji on February 7th.
“We are thrilled to bring back the Winter Movie series for the third year in a row thanks to support from the Cloud County Chemical Dependency Committee,” she said, adding that they wanted to continue offering an indoor activity for the community during the cold winter months. “We hope everyone will come out and enjoy our selection of movies coming up at the Brown Grand.”
