Tickets are now available for the Friends of Sunset Zoo’s annual Brew at the Zoo, presented by Addair Law, happening Friday, September 26, 2025. This beloved after-hours event supports the Friends of Sunset Zoo’s conservation mission and has become one of the community’s favorite fall traditions.

The evening kicks off at 5:00 p.m. with the ceremonial first pour by Manhattan Brewing Company, debuting “Jungle King”—a blonde ale brewed with calamansi fruit and crafted exclusively for this event. Guests will enjoy a commemorative Brew at the Zoo tasting cup and access to more than 20 regional breweries, along with food stations located throughout the Zoo. Entertainment will be provided by Wing Productions, who will also capture souvenir photos. The evening winds down with last pour at 8:15 p.m., and the event concludes at 8:30 p.m.

“This event is one of our favorites to host each year,” said Scott Shoemaker, Zoo Director. “It’s an incredible opportunity to share our passion for wildlife conservation with the community in such a fun and meaningful way. We’re grateful for the generous support of our sponsors and the Friends of Sunset Zoo board—this event wouldn’t be possible without them.”

Tickets are available online only at friendsofsunsetzoo.ticketspice.com/brew-at-the-zoo-2025. Tickets are $65 in advance and $75 at the door (if available). Each ticket includes a 16 oz. specialty beer glass. Quantities are limited, and the event has sold out in recent years. Brew at the Zoo is a rain-or-shine event, with proceeds benefiting wildlife conservation through the Friends of Sunset Zoo.

The Zoo Gift Shop will be open for souvenir purchases, and several brewers will offer branded swag for sale.

Sunset Zoo will be closing to General Admission at 1:00 p.m. that day to allow time to set up for the event.
