The United Way of Junction City/Geary County will launch its 2024-2025 “Kickoff Campaign” tonight at the Junction City High School varsity football game at Blue Jay Stadium. Scheduled from 5:30-7:30 p.m., this event will feature a tailgate and raffles with drawings taking place at halftime.

Executive Director Nicole Mader announced that the tailgate, located near the entrance to Blue Jay Stadium, will offer a meal consisting of smoked sausage, chips, and water. Attendees can participate in a 50/50 raffle and other raffles for a chance to win Junction City Blue Jay gear, gift baskets, and more. New, bright yellow United Way shirts will also be sold at the game.

Proceeds from the event will support United Way’s direct services and their partner agencies.
