The Wild Bill Hickok Disc Golf Club in partnership with the Kansas Disc Golf Association (KDGA) will hold a food drive tournament for Clover Cabinet on Sunday, January 26th at the Chapman Creek Disc Golf Course at 1:00 p.m.
Andrew Laughlin of the Wild Bill Hickok Disc Golf Club spoke about how the idea of holding food drives got started.
“When other local clubs let us know about the KDGA food drives going on, we certainly wanted to go ahead and do that for the community.”
Laughlin encourages anyone to join them to play and their schedule is on their Facebook Page.
“Anybody can come out and play with us. Any skill level is of course encouraged to be a part of what we do.”
“We play all throughout Dickinson County and we’re happy to be able to be representing the area with the sport that we love.”
Registration for the tournament will start at 11:30 a.m., with a tee time of 1:00 p.m. The donation entry fee will include an 18-hole round, a special KDGA Food Drive Disc, and five raffle tickets. Bonus raffle tickets will be awarded to those who bring high-demand Pantry items.
