Ladies of the community are invited to kick off the holiday season with creativity and festive cheer at an upcoming Christmas Centerpiece Floral Design Workshop, hosted by River Valley District, Ladies Night Out Committee, and Owen’s Originals Floral.

The hands-on workshop will take place on December 17th, starting at 6:00 p.m., at 211 C St., Washington, allowing participants to design and take home their own custom holiday centerpiece. The class will be led by Carol Owen, who will guide attendees step-by-step through creating a professional-quality arrangement perfect for a dining table, mantle, or holiday gathering.

Participants will learn how to select and prepare fresh evergreens and seasonal florals, techniques for creating long-lasting centerpieces, and tips for incorporating decorative accents such as berries, candles, ribbons, and ornaments. They will also receive care instructions to keep arrangements fresh throughout the holiday season. All materials will be provided, and attendees will leave with a finished centerpiece ready to display or give as a gift.

Space is limited to the first 15 who register by December 12th, and a $20 registration fee applies. If you have any questions or are looking to RSVP, please call the Washington office at 785-325-2121.
