Woodbine Fall Festival Will Take Place October 21st

The Woodbine Fall Festival, set to take place at Woodbine City Park on October 21, promises an exciting array of family-friendly activities from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Attendees can immerse themselves in a lively vendor fair, live entertainment, parade, and a range of friendly competitions.

Tamara Blake, a committee member, shared that around 15 diverse vendors are expected at the event, showcasing their offerings throughout the park for visitors to explore and shop.

Live entertainment will be going throughout the day, featuring performances by local artists such as Dave Schimming, Flint Hills Band, the North 40 Band, and Noah Peck, commencing at 9 a.m. and concluding at 2 p.m.

For those seeking some competition, the festival offers engaging contests, including a car and tractor show, quilt show, beard contest, arm wrestling contest, and apple dessert contest. Participants can register for these events on the morning of the festival, with specific registration times provided. To kick off the festivities, a parade will take place at 10 a.m. on Sixth Street.
