Clay County Planning a Housing Survey

Clay Co., Kan. — A statewide housing survey earlier this year took a look at the state in a more regional basis, breaking down the state into several sections but when it came down to individual counties and communities that data was a specified.
Counties across the state have begun to conduct and plan their own specific survey to discover what needs they have in their own community. One of which is Clay County.

Grow Clay County Director Natalie Murato said they just finished up their strategic plan which includes housing. [Nat1]

The strategic plan still has to be reviewed by the Grow Clay County board for final approval next week. Murato though said much of it turned out like they thought with childcare and housing needs.

She said that plan will be a big help in setting the stage for the new organization Grow Clay County.
