Family Nurse Practitioner joins Clay County Medical Center Team at Glasco and Clay Center Family Physicians

Clay Center, Kan. — Austin Gydesen, FNP-C, has joined Glasco Family Physicians and Clay Center Family Physicians full-time.
Austin was born and raised in the small Nebraska town of Elwood. He graduated with his nurse practitioner degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He has always been a people oriented person, who enjoys getting to know and helping people, and chose being a Nurse Practitioner so he could help people every day.
Austin has 2 dogs and several farm cats. He also raises several different breeds of chickens. His hobbies include home remodeling projects, yard work, watching sports, travel, and spending time with friends and family.
When asked why he has chosen to join the CCMC team, Gydesen replied, “I wanted to work for CCMC because I’m looking forward to building new relationships with the people in Glasco and surrounding areas. CCMC is a super progressive hospital with absolutely beautiful facilities, an even better staff, and I cannot wait to join the team”.
Austin previously practiced at Lincoln County Hospital, and will begin seeing patients in early July.
