Due to a brief power outage on the morning of April 9, the traffic lights controlling the intersection of Highways 15 and 24 in Clay Center are temporarily out of service.
Clay Center Public Utilities Commission Superintendent Scott Glaves said the issue will hopefully be resolved by Thursday, April 11.
Glaves said the electrical outage was initially caused by a squirrel getting into a control box on Clay Center’s 8th Street Circuit.
