Geary County Emergency Management announced that Laurel Canyon/Rural Water District #2 is under a Boil Water Advisory.

The following is for drinking water advisories for when to boil and not boil.

“During a drinking water advisory, it is recommended water be boiled before being used for drinking and cooking. Bring water to a boil, let it boil for 1 minute, let it cool before using; or use bottled water. Keep in mind your kids, elderly, and pets during this time.”
