Showing support toward the mental well-being of students from pre-kindergarten through college, the FHSU College of Education will host the Olliff Family Educational Symposium on Thursday, Feb. 15. This virtual event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

The symposium, which began in 2017, will feature a keynote address by Jessica Sinarski, a renowned therapist, speaker, and change-maker, as stated in a news release. Titled “The Hopeful Side of Neuroscience,” the presentation aims to share information on the concept of “trauma-informed” education. Following her address, a panel of professionals in the field will engage in discussions about their ongoing work.

The virtual event is free of charge and is open for registration, and interested individuals can secure their spots by visiting https://www.fhsu.edu/olliff-family-educational-symposium/schedule-workshops/
