The City Council is accepting offers for the former Friendly Corners building.  The Council has requested that written proposals contain as much of the following information as possible and applicable.

 Name/Organization/Interested Parties

  • Type of proposed project/projected use
  • Timeline
  • Job creation possibilities
  • Tax exemption status
  • Funding opportunities
  • Compliance with city codes/building codes
  • Insurance considerations

Other discussion points may include:

  • Ensure the council that the building and grounds will be maintained and well kept.
  • Ensure the council that the operations of the property will comply with all city codes (ie: snow removal from sidewalks, no exposed buildup of trash outdoors, no unregistered or inoperable vehicles to sit on the property or on the street).
  • Failure to comply with contract/requirements, etc., could result in the property reverting back to the City.

PLEASE SUBMIT TO CITY HALL BY 5 PM TUESDAY, JANUARY 20, 2026.
