Abilene Core Community is always seeking volunteers to help provide support to families of the Program. As a non-profit volunteers are a vital part of Core Community.
Volunteers can choose from various services including working in the childcare area, connecting with kids of all ages, welcoming families as they go through the food line, assisting with children’s plates, or simply helping with general cleanup at the end of the evening.
Cindy Whittington, Core Community Coach, said their motto is “There’s a Place for Everyone.” And volunteers play a large role in that motto.
Volunteering is a great way to help those in the community, and for those seeking community service hours, this is a rewarding way to fill those needed hours. Core Community is looking for people from School Groups, Church Groups, Youth Groups, to individuals. Contact Crystal Radenberg if you’re interested in volunteering.
