The Cloud County Resource Center (CCRC) continues its annual tradition of providing Thanksgiving and Christmas Holiday Baskets, a program launched about five years ago by Executive Director Tonya Merrill.
Registration opens each October for community members needing extra support, offering several basket options, including food baskets, Angel Tree, Abate Toy Run, and Silver Santa. This year, CCRC is also piloting “Jingle Buddies,” a new project designed to serve individuals with developmental disabilities who may not meet age requirements for other programs.
After registration closes in mid-November, volunteers help pack food, toys, and gifts at the Concordia office, preparing complete holiday meals and age-appropriate items for families and individuals.
Those wishing to volunteer or donate during the holiday season may contact Merrill at CCRC.
