Ashley Hope James, 41, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at her residence in Salina, Kansas. She was born on April 4, 1981 in El Dorado, Kansas to Jimmie and Kathy (Zurfluh) James.
Ashley was a 2002 graduate of Concordia High School, Concordia, Kansas.
She was baptized in the Concordia Wesleyan Church, where she attended in her youth.
Ashley enjoyed country music, loved watching the Kansas City Royals Baseball, and watching old westerns.
She is survived by parents, Jimmie and Kathy James, Salina, KS; sister, Jenna Kay James Gregory, and her two children Garrett Wayne and Brenna Rene Gregory of Tomball, TX; her two brothers, Raymond John James (Paidge Jameson), Salina, KS; Robert Lawrence James (Abigail Steffen), Minneapolis, KS; maternal grandmother, Delores Zurfluh, Salina, KS; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 2:00 pm at the First Christian Church, Concordia, Kansas.
Celebration of life services will be held on Friday, 2:00 p.m., May 20, 2022 at the First Christian Church with Pastor Dwight Whitead officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia, Kansas.
