Diana F. Russell, 61 of Topeka, died Monday, July 4, 2022 at the Stormont Vail Hospital.  She was born on October 26, 1960 in Concordia, Kansas, the daughter of Leo and Roberta (Weir) Horner.

Diana grew up in Wakefield, graduating from Wakefield High School in 1978.  She married Todd Russell on June 1, 1986.  Diana worked at the Foot Locker Warehouse in Junction City for over 25 years before moving to Topeka in 2014.  She is preceded in death by her father.

Daughter: Lacey and husband, Jason Lewis of Ottawa, Kansas

Mother: Roberta Horner of Gardner, Kansas

Brother: Dan and wife, Terri Horner of Tennessee

Brother: Doug Horner of Wakefield, Kansas

Sister: Deb and husband, Greg Lumb of Kansas City, Kansas

3 grandchildren

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 10:30AM at the Madura Congregational Church in Wakefield , Kansas

Interment will follow in the Highland Cemetery in Wakefield, Kansas.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022 from 9:00 AM until service time at the Madura Congregational Church in Wakefield, Kansas

Memorials may be made to the Diana Russell Memorial Fund to be designated later and can be sent c/o the funeral home.
