Dorothy M. Urban, 96 died November 4, 2023, in Clay Center, KS.  She was born on February 9, 1927, in Cloud County, the daughter of and George and Georginna (Charbonneau) Cyre.    Dorothy was raised in Cloud County.  She married Fred Urban on May 20, 1946.  They made their home and farmed near Morganville.  Dorothy also drove a school bus for 23 years, retiring in 1988.  She was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Catholic Women’s Organization, the Happy Hour Club and served as a Girl Scout den mother.  In her free time, Dorothy enjoyed gardening and baking pies.  She was preceded in death by husband, parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Daughter: Sharon and husband Gary Wachsnicht of Clay Center, KS

Daughter: Susan and husband Mike Vint of Lincoln, NE

Son: Michael and wife Monica Urban of Morganville, KS

11 Grandchildren and 15 Great-grandchildren

Sisters-in-Law: Loretta Cyre, Marlene Urban, Carol Cyre and Sandy Cyre

Funeral Services: 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at the SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Clay Center, KS 

Burial: Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas

Visitation: 4-6 PM Monday, November 13, at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home.  Rosary will be recited at 6PM
