Forrest W. Tegethoff, 83, Washington, died Saturday, February 6, 2021 at the Washington County Hospital.
A Celebration of Life gathering with the family, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m., Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Crossroads Community Church, Washington.
Frosty was born on September 13, 1937 in Washington County to Floyd and Lula (Diller) Tegethoff. In 1955, he Graduated from Washington High School.
On February 27, 1960, he was united in marriage to Roine Rippe in Hanover. To this union four children were born, Rick, Tamie, Kelli and Randy.
He worked as an owner/operator for Frosty’s Mobil, as a custodian for the Washington County Courthouse, a stocker/checker/assistant manager for Kier’s Thriftway and more recently, the manager at Short Stop. He also helped Norman Stewart out on the farm with harvest and other farming activities.
Frosty was a member of the Washington Christian Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Roine in 2008; and sister, Cleora Scheetz.
Survivors include his children, Rick (Julie) Tegethoff, Tamie Tegethoff, Kelli Tegethoff all of Washington, and Randy (Syri) Tegethoff, Newton; sisters, Shirley Truhlicka, Marysville, Leona Kalous, Topeka; brother, Lavern (Allece) Tegethoff, Salina; and seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
A memorial fund is established and will be designated later. Contributions may be sent in care of Ward Funeral Home.
