Frances “Fran” M. Stuber, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Cloud County Health Center, Concordia, KS. She was born on August 4, 1945 in Lamar, Colorado, to Mack and Gladys (Surprise) Davison.
Fran was a 1963 graduate of Holly High School, Holly Colorado.
She married Roger Stuber on December 20, 1975. He preceded her in death September 6, 2020. Together they had four children, Shawnie, Susan, Shellie, and Michael.
Fran worked as a seamstress for Scott Specialties Supply in Concordia for many years.
She enjoyed golfing, dining out with her friends, and watching game shows.
She is survived by her daughters, Shawnie Sanders (Jamie), Douglass, KS; Susan Usrey (Johnny), Lilesville, NC; Shellie Moen (Mike), Andover, KS and one son Michael Stuber, Concordia, KS, 13 Grandchild and 10 Great-Grandchildren; sister, Maxine Miller, Simla, CO; 2 brothers, James Davison (Lefty), Olathe, CO; Leo Davison, Kimberling City, MO.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger; her parents, Mack and Gladys, 1 brother, Wesley Davison, a granddaughter, Sylvie Lynn.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home.
It was Fran’s wishes to be cremated and the family will hold a Celebration of Life service at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 22, 2022 at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home with Pastor Dwight Whitead officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia, Kansas.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Donor’s Choice in memory of Fran.
A luncheon will be served for family and friends following the graveside at the American Legion, Concordia.
