Gary L. Miller, age 81, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Salina Regional Health Center, Salina, KS.  He was born on June 2, 1940 Concordia, KS to Lawrence E. & Maxine L. (Chartier) Miller.

Gary graduated from Concordia High School in 1958.  He joined the US Army on Feb. 27, 1962 and served active duty until Jan. 1, 1968.  He began working as a mechanic for CASE IH tractor and then later worked for Johnson Auto until his retirement.  Gary was an avid car lover and a member of the Heartland Auto Club.

He is survived by his sons, Loren Miller (Dena) & Lance Miller (Penelope); daughters, Stacey Miller & Kelly Jones (Terry), all of Salina, KS; grandchildren, Riley & Erica, Chellcy & Cari & Coalton & sisters, Janice Brownell, Concordia, KS, Connie Bisnett, Topeka, KS & Debbie Kim (Byron), Overland Park, KS.

He was preceded by his parents & a grandson, Blake Miller.

Visitation will be from 1-8 pm, Wednesday, April 13, 2022 and the family will gather to celebrate Gary from 6-8 pm with military honors conducted by American Legion Post #76 & VFW Post #588 at 7 pm all at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia.  Cremation will follow the visitation.  The family suggests memorials to Heartland Auto Club in care of the funeral home.  For online condolences, please visit www.chaputbuoy.com
