Joanne F. Coberly, age 87, died on November 20, 2024, at Liberty Place in Clay Center, KS. She was born to Fred and Hazel (Erickson) Karmann, in Clay Center, KS on April 8, 1937. Joanne attended Clay Center schools and graduated from Clay Center Community High School in 1953 a year ahead of her actual graduating class. She married Richard H. Mosburg in 1955. To this union two daughters were born, Babette and Michelle. Joanne and Richard later divorced. Joanne married John Coberly on May 19, 1969. He preceded her in death in 1996. Joanne worked at Key Mill, as well as in the deli at Ray’s IGA and the Elks Club. She had a passion for gardening, quilting and canning. Joanne loved to cook. She would not only cook great meals for her family but would cook for the church soup suppers and other events at the church. Joanne even served as a missionary cook. She is preceded in death by her husband, John; her parents; granddaughter, Stacey Crimmins; and son-in-law, Mike Crimmins.

Burial: Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas
Visitation: Tuesday, November 26, 2024, from 4-7 PM at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home
