Obituary-Larry Persinger

Larry Dale Persinger was born on February 17, 1953, in Superior, Nebraska, to Wesley N. & Evelyn (Mahan) Persinger. He passed away on January 10, 2024, at his home in Belleville, at the age of 70 years, 10 months, and 24 days.

Larry attended school in Superior, Nebraska, and worked various jobs in the Hutchinson, Kansas, area, including detailing cars for Shep Chevrolet in Haven, until he returned to Belleville. He also enjoyed working in landscaping and lawn care, and listening to country music.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Wesley Persinger and Evelyn Hanel, sister Shirley Diane Howe, brothers Lynn Persinger, Wesley “Corky” Persinger, and Faylon Persinger.

He is survived by his brother Gene Persinger and his wife Willeta of Hutchinson, sister Lyndal Frybarger and her husband Donald of Belleville, sisters in law Sheila Persinger and Juanita Persinger, brother in law Daryl Howe, many nieces and nephews, and many friends.

A private family service will be held later in the spring at Union Valley Cemetery, rural Scandia.
