Loretta Miles, 86 passed away on January 18, 2023, in Clay Center, KS.  She was born on January 15, 1937, in Clay County, the daughter of Harold and Doris (Lloyd) Keener.  Loretta was a Class of 1955 graduate of Clay Center High School.  She attended nurses training and worked at a doctor’s office in Chicago for many years. Loretta served as the village clerk for Payless Park, IL.  She also worked as a realtor, sold ad space for Concrete World and worked at Allstate Insurance.  Loretta was an avid golfer and played many rounds at the Clay Center Country Club. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Daughter: Elizabeth and husband Rodney Phillipp of Plainfield, IL

Daughter: Susan and husband John Brock of San Diego, CA

Son: Peter Miles of Lakewood, IL

Brother: Larry Keener of Clay Center, KS

7 Grandchildren and 10 Great-grandchildren

Celebration of Life:  5:30-8 PM Friday, January 27. 2023, in the St. Andrews room at the Clay Center Country Club.
