Obituary-Marjorie Mansfield

Marjorie F. Mansfield, age 91, of Concordia, KS, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024 at North Central Kansas Medical Center, Concordia, KS.  She was born on March 11, 1933 in Huscher, KS to Charles & Ruby F. (Huscher) DeGraff.

She graduated from Concordia High School in 1951.  She worked as a bank teller for 46 plus years at several local banks including Cloud County, Fidelity and Citizen’s National Bank.  She also was a staple at the cash register at Kristy’s Family Restaurant for many years.

She married Melvin F. Mansfield on Feb. 2, 1952 in Salina, KS and to this union were born, Susan and Curtis.  They later divorced. 

She is survived by her children, Susan (Gary) Lindeen, Fredericksburg, VA & Curtis (Tammy) Mansfield, Concordia, KS; grandchildren, Krissy Mansfield (Katie), Nathan Mansfield (Shay), Brenna Adams (Steven), Karilyn Ullrich (Daniel), Miranda Mansfield (Jimmy Johnson) & Courtney Mansfield (Andrew Blazek) & great grandchildren, Cole, Carter, Liam, Emelia, Dacre, Kora, Aria, Ronan & Oliver.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Myron DeGraff.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 1-8 pm at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia with the family greeting friends from 6:30-7:30 pm.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Friday, August 16, 2024 at the funeral home with Pastor Bob Burns officiating.  The burial will follow at Nelson Center Cemetery, Huscher, KS.
