Patricia Ann Talbot was born August 4, 1942, in Omaha, NE to Alfred LaVern and Blanche Madaline (Wood) Potter. She went to be with her Papa God Thursday morning October 31, 2024, at Midland Care Hospice House in Topeka, KS.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Edward Boller and her brother Doug Potter.
She is survived by her daughter Kimberley (Boller) and husband Tim Mayo of Clay Center and sons, Larry Boller of Kansas City, MO and John Boller of Albany, MO, grandchildren and great grandchildren, sister, Barbara Root and brother Thomas Rouse.
Patricia committed her life to Christ the summer of 1968. Everything she did was a witness to her faith. She loved her Lord with all her heart, mind, soul and strength. Patricia’s faith was evident in all she did: whether caring for family or sharing the little she had with those needing love and care. She was firm in her beliefs and stood strong on God’s Word.
Patricia was always an avid reader and a lifelong learner. She had several occupations throughout her life, doing what was needed to provide for her family. Patricia was a gardener and farm hand, a clothing factory worker, a cook, a plumber and a custom seamstress. She was always an excellent seamstress and cook, skills learned from her mother. For several years, Patricia operated a cleaning service in St. Joseph, MO.
Patricia moved to Clay Center in 2011 to be closer to her daughter and family. She was active in her church and did puppet ministry with friends. She enjoyed all manners of sewing and crafts; always willing to try something new. Most of what she created was shared with those she knew.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2pm on Friday, November 22, 2024, at First Baptist Church in Clay Center, KS.
Memorials are suggested for the First Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
