Patti Jane Hamel Bloomfield, 68, of Clifton KS, passed away on December 25, 2022, after a long battle of cancer.  Patti was born on August 21, 1954, to Lloyd and Maxine Hamel in Concordia, KS. Patti graduated from Clyde High School in 1972.  In 1969, Patti met Steve Bloomfield. Patti and Steve were married on December 18, 1971.    They went on to have 2 children, Alan, and Amber.

Through the years Patti spent her time working at Kisby’s Pit Stop and the Clifton Library.  She enjoyed reading, crocheting blankets, traveling, and spending time with her family and grandkids.  Patti was preceded in death by Lloyd and Maxine Hamel, Carlyle and JoAnne Bloomfield.

She is survived by Steve, Alan, and Sarah all of Clifton, Amber and Arturo of Olathe, KS.  Two grandchildren Ethan and Zander. Sister, Linda and Dale Berk, Concordia: brother Tom and Jo Hamel Clyde; sisters- and brothers-in-law Larry and Jamie Bloomfield and Bill and Terri Bloomfield, both of Clifton; Carla and John Malone of Paxico, and Janet and Carey Minihan, Shawnee, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Thursday, December 29 at Faith United Church Presbyterian in Clifton, KS

Services will be held at 11 AM Friday, December 30, 2022, at Riverdale Cemetery rural Clifton

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Clifton Ball Association.
