Obituary-Ronald William Wondra

Ronald William Wondra, age 74, left this earthly life on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Cloud County Health Center, Concordia, KS.  He was born on August 28, 1947 in Odin, KS to William and Mary (Jenisch) Wondra.
He was a 1965 graduate of Claflin High School.  He then received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Brown Mackie College Salina.
He married Sondra Egbert in Salina, Kansas.  To this union 3 children were born, Sherry, Chris & Trenton.  He later married Betty Lou Cameron.
Ron served in the United States Army Reserves.
He worked for F&A Food Sales in Concordia, Kansas for many years as a broker/buyer.
Ron enjoyed remodeling, woodworking, hot rods, restoring old cars, hunting, fishing, playing cards, traveling and most of all spending time with his family and friends.
He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia, Kansas.
Ron is survived by his wife, Betty Wondra, Concordia, KS; a daughter, Sherry Werth, Edmond, OK; 2 sons, Chris Wondra (Lynnette), Council Bluffs, IA; Trenton Wondra of TX; step-children, Dawn Whaley, Carbondale, KS; Darla Scoggin, Derby, KS; Diann Trotter, (Ernie), Wichita, KS; Dennis Whaley, Wichita, KS; 4 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; a brother, Allan Wondra (Shirley), Tulsa, OK; Rosalie Kinzel (Mike), Claflin, KS; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by his parents, William and Mary, a grandson, Preston Freeman Trotter.
Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am, Monday, May 2, 2022 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia, KS with Fr. David Metz officiating.  Burial will follow at St. Concordia Catholic Cemetery, Concordia, KS.
Visitation will be on Sunday, May 1, 2022 from 1-8 pm with a Vigil/Rosary at 6 pm, all at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia.  Family will receive friends after the Vigil/Rosary service.
