District 107 Representative Susan Concannon, a Republican from Beloit, has announced she will not seek re-election according to a report from the Sunflower State Journal that was released on Friday, May 31st.

Concannon has served six terms in the House and was first elected in 2012. She plans to spend the remainder of her time in office focusing on legislature regarding child welfare, health issues, and rural Kansas.

She has chaired many committees during her time serving in the House, including Child Welfare and Foster Care as well as Children and Seniors.

The 107th District includes Mitchell, Ottawa, and parts of Cloud and Saline Counties.
