The City of Washington Playground Committee has announced that they are close to qualifying for LMI status to be able to apply for a potentially significant amount of grant funding for the playground project. They need around 50 more people to complete their surveys by Sunday, June 30th.

The committee members have been hard at work trying to get more surveys completed. If you haven’t turned yours in or need another to fill out, please contact any committee member as soon as possible.

They are also searching for a translator to help reach the Spanish-speaking residents. The Committee has letters translated, but would really appreciate having someone come with them to assist with getting them filled out. Let the Committee know if you would be willing to assist.
