The Cloud County Health Department in Concordia is calling for community support through donations of fans, food, and hygiene items. With summer approaching, the department is hosting a fan drive to help residents stay cool. Donated fans must be new and unopened, and monetary contributions are also welcome to purchase fans. Additionally, the Crisis Pantry, located within the health department, is running low on essential supplies. They are in need of canned fruits and vegetables, peanut butter, jelly, boxed mac and cheese, pancake mix, syrup, diapers, hygiene products, and Dawn dish soap. The pantry is available to individuals and families in need once per month. One small donation can make a big difference.
