The Concordia Police Department has been made aware that an unknown individual is attempting to contact citizens stating they are with the Concordia Police Department or Cloud Sheriff’s Office. This individual is contacting citizens and stating that they have a warrant for failing to show up to jury duty. 

No Officer or Deputy will contact you through the phone stating that you have a warrant for your arrest. The CPD will also not be calling over the phone asking for personal information such as bank account information.

If you receive a phone call like that, please hang up and call our admin lines at 785-243-3131 to verify that it is a scam.
