The Kansas Department of Transportation plans to begin a crack sealing project on K-15 in Clay and Dickinson counties on Monday, May 19.
Project work on K-15 will occur south of Clay Center, from the south city limits of Clay Center in Clay County to the east K-18 junction in Dickinson County.
During construction, flaggers and a pilot car will guide one lane of traffic through construction at a reduced speed. Drivers should be prepared for a delay of up to 15 minutes and plan extra time in their travel schedules.
Pavement Pros, LLC, of McPherson, is the prime contractor for this $130,670 project, which is scheduled to be completed in June, weather permitting.
KDOT urges motorists to stay alert and follow posted signs in all work zones. For current road conditions, visit kandrive.gov or call 5-1-1. For updates on highway projects in north central Kansas, visit NewsReleases/District2-north central Kansas.
