Fort Riley has announced on Social Media that their annual full-scale exercise is scheduled for Wednesday, July 17th. Throughout the day, residents, employees, and community members may notice an increase in emergency response vehicles and “Giant Voice” loudspeaker announcements.

Some roads on the installation may be closed and traffic may be rerouted due to exercise activity.

1st Division Road from Bellavia Way to Tuttle Avenue will be temporarily closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Services at the First Division CDC and 1st Infantry Division Dental Clinic will not be impacted; however, traffic and activity may make for a longer commute. This exercise is a way to test and train installation emergency preparedness.
