As work progresses on the I-70 pavement replacement project in Junction City, motorists should anticipate the following traffic changes:
- The eastbound entrance ramp at exit 299 (J-Hill Road) to I-70 is expected to reopen on Monday, Aug. 18, conditions permitting.
- The eastbound exit ramp at exit 298 (Chestnut Street) to I-70 is expected to close on Monday, Aug. 18, and reopen in late September, conditions permitting.

Wildcat Construction Co. Inc. and Subsidiaries, of Wichita, is the prime contractor of this project and has scheduled it to be completed by December, weather permitting.
KDOT urges all motorists to be alert and obey the warning signs when approaching and driving through a highway work zone.
