The Fort Riley law enforcement team will once again participate in the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run in support of the Special Olympics.

Fort Riley runners will receive the torch at the Ogden Gate from the Riley County Police Department at about 1:00 p.m. and then carry the torch along Huebner Road to the Grant Gate, where they will hand the torch to runners from the Junction City Police Department and Geary County Sheriff’s Office.

During the run, drivers can expect delays on Huebner Road and should approach the formation with caution.
