Milford Lake Corps of Engineers to Hold Archery Draw for 40 Deer Hunting Permits

The Milford Lake Corps of Engineers will be conducting an Archery Draw for 40 deer hunting permits on August 24th on the front lawn of the Corps Office located at 5203 N. Hwy. K-57 Hwy which is on the south end of the Milford Dam.

Registration for the draw will begin at 0830 and the draw for a hunting location at 0930.

Hunting locations and permits include: Milford Fish Hatchery 1 permit, Former K-State Lease 4 permits, East Rolling Hills Park 2 permits, West Rolling Hills Park 5 permits, Curtis Creek Park 10 permits, School Creek Park 10 permits, South Timber Creek Park 2 permits, North Timber Creek Park 4 permits, Farnum Creek Park 2 permits.

All hunters must be present, and a Photo ID is required to register.

Crossbows will not be allowed except for disabled hunters, & mentor youth which is an option at some locations.

Dates for these hunting opportunities begin October 1 and many extend through December 31, 2024.
