Resurfacing of Goldenbelt Boulevard in Geary County

 Beginning Wednesday, August 30, the Kansas Department of Transportation will begin resurfacing Goldenbelt Boulevard in Junction City from the east to the west.  

Flaggers and a pilot car will direct traffic through the work zone, drivers can anticipate minimal delays during this time.

On Friday, September 1, the contractor anticipates temporarily closing Goldenbelt Boulevard to traffic, just east of U.S. 77, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Wildcat Construction Co. Inc. and Subsidiaries, of Wichita, is the prime contractor and has scheduled resurfacing of Goldenbelt Boulevard to be completed by Monday, September 4, weather permitting.
