A Waterline Replacement Project today in Abilene will leave some customers without water for a few hours.

The City of Abilene reported that there will be a temporary suspension of water services for some customers on NE 14th Street between 2 pm and 6 pm. The map shows the most impact occurring around the 1400 and 1500 blocks of Oak and Kuney Street near Kennedy Elementary.

They state that once water is restored it may have a temporary decrease in pressure or cloudiness, but remains safe to drink.
