LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas Football saw 11 players honored on the Athlon Sports Preseason All-America and All-Big 12 Teams. Cornerback Cobee Bryant (Third Team) and running back Devin Neal (Fourth Team) earned All-America honors.
Both Bryant and Neal also received preseason All-America honors from Phil Steele Magazine.
Athlon All-Big 12 Team selections include:
– First Team: QB Jalon Daniels, CB Cobee Bryant
– Second Team: RB Devin Neal, WR Lawrence Arnold, OL Michael Ford, DL Jereme Robinson, CB Mello Dotson
– Third Team: LB JB Brown
– Fourth Team: OL Logan Brown, OL Bryce Cabeldue, S Marvin Grant
Bryant, named to the Lott IMPACT Trophy Watch List, is the first Kansas defensive back since Aqib Talib to earn consecutive First Team All-Big 12 honors. Neal, from Lawrence, rushed for over 1,000 yards in consecutive seasons, tallying 1,280 yards and 16 touchdowns in 2023.
Kansas looks forward to back-to-back bowl appearances and will play all six home games in the Kansas City Metro area in 2024.
