Aliyah Carter Earns Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week Honors

By Jayson Henderson

K-State outside hitter Aliyah Carter was named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week for the seventh time in her career and third time this season. Carter now holds the K-State record for most career offensive weekly honors with 12, surpassing Kaitlynn Pelger.

Last week, Carter reached 2,000 career points, becoming the first Wildcat to achieve the milestone in the rally-scoring era. She tallied 24 kills and 13 digs against Kansas, marking her 33rd career double-double. Her 5.00 kills per set led the Big 12, and she ranks second in the conference in multiple offensive categories.

K-State will visit Colorado on Wednesday before hosting BYU on Friday for Senior Day at Morgan Family Arena. Tickets for the regular-season finale are available through the K-State Athletics ticket office.
