Ayoka Lee Earns WBCA All-Region Honors, Finalist for All-America Recognition

K-State senior center Ayoka Lee garners recognition, named to WBCA All-Region 3 team and a finalist for All-America honors. Among 52 finalists, she stands out as one of eight from the Big 12 Conference. Lee’s achievements echo K-State history, becoming the third player to earn three WBCA All-Region honors, joining Kendra Wecker and Nicole Ohlde. Her season stats include 19.7 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 2.78 blocked shots per game. Lee’s impact extends beyond accolades; she led K-State to its 18th NCAA Tournament appearance with 26 wins, a milestone not reached since the 2002-03 season. The Wildcats’ performance earned them a spot among the Associated Press top-25 for 18 consecutive weeks, reaching a peak of number two in the nation on January 29th. Lee’s legacy at K-State is solidified, holding numerous school records and making significant contributions to the team’s success.
