Sports Illustrated’s latest rankings have placed Kansas City Chiefs’ Head Coach Andy Reid and quarterback Patrick Mahomes at the top of the list for the NFL’s best head coach and quarterback duos. With three Super Bowl victories in the past five seasons, Reid and Mahomes have solidified their place among the great partnerships in NFL history. They join a select group including Chuck Noll and Terry Bradshaw of the Pittsburgh Steelers, and Bill Belichick and Tom Brady of the New England Patriots, as the only duos to achieve such success. Since Mahomes became the starter in 2018, the Chiefs have secured 75 regular-season wins, leading the league by nine victories, and have won 15 postseason games, seven more than the next closest team. Matt Verderame, author of the article, highlighted their achievements, noting Mahomes’ potential Hall of Fame career and Reid’s fourth all-time wins ranking.
