A graduate of Clay Center Community High School, Weller began her career with an internship at Sports in Kansas, the most followed high school sports media group in the state.

Weller believes in the importance of her work, saying, “Sports in Kansas does a really good job of helping kids get recruited through social media.”
Her work with local athletes, such as Cole Pladson, keeps her connected to her community. Weller’s advice to aspiring sports journalists is simple: “Put yourself out there and be persistent.” Her journey reflects a steady commitment to her craft and community.
