Eric Alquist To Retire From Clay County Wrestling Club

After 30 years as a Coach and Club Director of the Clay County Wrestling Club, Eric Alquist says it’s time to pass on the torch.

Alquist is the Club’s current Director. He says he was a wrestler with the club for 8 years:

Gavin Grater, whose father founded the club in 1972, will succeed Alquist as the Clay County Wrestling Club’s Director around the middle of March of this year.

Alquist says it’s time to focus on other aspects of his life, like his grandkids and farming:

Alquist says he enjoyed his time as a leader of the Club, but now it’s time to focus on his other interests.
